Chef Adam Schihab, the world-famous patissier based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, will soon be opening a Mediterranean restaurant named Vanille in association with the leading Vanilla Group of companies, where he’ll lead a culinary team.
Healthy Bread by Chef Adam Schihab
As such, Chef Adam Schihab is a pastry chef and a specialist in making an endless array of delicious dishes including Macarons, Chocolate, Pastries and more. But he especially takes pride in making bread that is very, very healthy.
Adam Schihab is extremely health conscious and makes the bread using Spelt and Multigrain. This bread is completely free from any chemical processing. The flour used for making the bread is milled by the Chef Adam Schihab’s team. Healthy ingredients like oats, lentil, grains and seeds are added to the bread for a dash of fibre so as to make it healthy for the digestive tract.
High Qualification and Vast Experience
Chef Adam Schihab is highly qualified in the faculty of catering technology and management. He studied at the Institute of Hotel & Catering Services and received Master’s Degree in International Management from the University of Liverpool. He also received training in Pastry schools in Paris, France, and at HTC’s French Culinary School.
Born in the lovely island of Maldives, Chef Adam Schihab has worked in numerous countries including Australia, Indonesia, the USA, the Philippines, Oman, Qatar, Papua New Guinea, Egypt and his motherland, Maldives, and now he is based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in five-star hotels and resorts, like Relais & Châteaux in France, Waldorf Astoria, Four Seasons Ritz-Carlton, Conrad Hilton Dusit Thani, and more.
Just before moving to Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, Adam Schihab was working as a Group Executive Pastry Chef at Waterfront Hotels Group. Then he held the second position as Assistant Vice President at Waterfront Food Concept Inc. (The Commissary) Subsidiary of Waterfront Group when he catered to several coffee shops.
While coming to Saudi Arabia, he brought the same idea to Vanilla Commissary. They are catering more than thirty different coffee shops with home-made pastries, cakes and breakfast sandwiches and croissant.
The First Mediterranean Restaurant by Vanilla Group
Vanilla Group is now on their way to opening their first Mediterranean restaurant, Vanille, in Al Khobar with 75-seater dining area, private chef table and gourmet baker pastry display section. Chef Adam Schihab will lead the culinary team.
