3 World Recipes You Should Try

If you want to add a spice to your life and kitchen, you should try new recipes every day. The world of recipes is vast but the internet has brought it closer. Thus we have world recipes at hand.

Here are 3 recipes from 3 different countries that are famous for their tasty and healthy cuisines.

1. Corizo Tacos (Mexico)

Ingredients

  • 1 chorizo sausage link, with casing taken out and meat crumbled
  • 4 corn tortillas
  • 2 tbsp. chopped onion (or as per your choice)
  • 2 tbsp. chipotle peppers in abodo sauce
  • 2 tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro (or as per your taste)

Method

Take chipotle peppers in abodo sauce and chorizo in a bowl and mix together.

Place a skillet over medium-high flame and cook chorizo mixture in it till it becomes crisp, i.e. for 5-7 minutes. Take out chorizo mixture in a plate leaving the grease in the skillet.

Heat tortillas in the left behind grease in the skillet over medium flame till warmed, i.e. 1-2 minutes per side. Place 2 tortillas over each other for every taco. Fill with chorizo mixture, cilantro and onion.

2. Walnut Skordalia (Greece)

Ingredients

  • 80 gm. shelled walnuts
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 40 gm. fresh breadcrumbs
  • 110ml olive oil
  • 50ml red wine vinegar

Method

Blend walnuts to a paste in a food processor. Add red wine vinegar, garlic cloves, breadcrumbs and 3-5 tbsp. cold water. Mix well together and add olive oil until smooth. Season. Take in a bowl and dust with sumac.

3. Shredded Pork (Cuba)

Ingredients

  • 1 packet (17-oz) fully cooked pork roast au jus
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • Black beans ‘n’ spuds
  • 7 tbsp. mojo criollo Spanish marinating sauce (or quick Spanish marinating sauce)
  • Fresh cilantro and dill pickle stacker slices for garnishing

Method

Take pork out from package and wash with warm water, drain and pat dry with tissues. Break into chunks with two forks.

Place a large skillet over medium-high flame and heat oil in it. Sauté onion in it for 3 minutes or till tender. Add mojo criollo sauce and roast. Cook for 1-2 minutes or till completely heated. Pour over the pork roast chunks, garnish and serve with black beans ‘n’ spuds.
